FAQs
Our FAQs: Your Questions Answered
What makes us different from other breeders?
We raise our Pups in the heart of our family home—not in kennels or breeding facilities. From their first breath, our puppies are handled and socialized by our children, experiencing the sights, sounds, and loving chaos of real family life. This creates confident, well-adjusted companions ready to seamlessly integrate into your home. We also offer an unprecedented 10-year health guarantee, reflecting our absolute confidence in our champion bloodlines and breeding program. With over 14 years of experience, we don't just breed Pomeranians—we create lifelong family members.
How are your puppies socialized?
Our puppies are raised in the middle of our active household from day one. They're gently handled by our children daily, exposed to common household sounds (vacuum cleaners, doorbells, TV, kitchen noise), and experience various textures, surfaces, and situations. By the time they come home to you, they've already learned to be confident around people of all ages, comfortable with handling, and unfazed by the normal activity of family life. This early socialization is irreplaceable and sets them up for success in their forever homes.
What health testing do you perform on your breeding dogs?
All our breeding pairs undergo comprehensive health testing including genetic screening for breed-specific hereditary conditions, orthopedic evaluations, cardiac assessments, and eye examinations. We only breed dogs that meet strict health standards and have sound temperaments. This rigorous testing minimizes the risk of hereditary conditions and ensures we're producing the healthiest puppies possible.
Are your Pups from champion bloodlines?
Yes! All our breeding pairs come from carefully selected champion bloodlines. We prioritize both beauty and temperament, ensuring our puppies have the structural soundness and delightful personality that makes our pups such beloved companions. However, we believe character matters just as much as pedigree—that's why our home-raised approach focuses on developing well-rounded, confident puppies.
At what age can I take my puppy home?
Our puppies are ready to join their forever families at 8-12 weeks of age, depending on their individual development and readiness. We never rush this process—each puppy leaves only when they're fully weaned, eating independently, properly socialized, and emotionally ready for the transition. Your puppy's well-being always comes first.
What does your 10-year health guarantee cover?
We offer one of the most comprehensive health guarantees in the industry—a full 10 years of coverage against hereditary and genetic conditions. This includes patellar luxation, progressive retinal atrophy (PRA), collapsed trachea (congenital), patent ductus arteriosus (PDA), Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease, and congenital hypothyroidism. If your veterinarian diagnoses a covered hereditary condition within 10 years, we'll provide a replacement puppy of equal value. This extraordinary guarantee demonstrates our confidence in our breeding program and our commitment to your puppy's lifelong health.
How do you ship puppies?
We partner with USDA-licensed professional pet transporters to ensure a safe journey. Your puppy will travel with a health certificate, in an approved crate, and with a travel kit. You are responsible for 100% of the shipping costs.
Can I pick up my puppy in person?
Yes, ground transport or personal pickup can often be arranged within a reasonable distance. Please contact us for a quote and to make arrangements.
What is your return policy?
If you must return the puppy within 30 days for any non-health reason, we offer a 50% refund (minus deposit) upon the puppy's return in good health. After 30 days, no monetary refunds are given, but we will assist in rehoming.
Do I need to take my puppy to the vet right away?
Yes! You must have your puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving them. This crucial checkup establishes your puppy's health baseline, allows you to address any immediate concerns, and is required to maintain the validity of our health guarantee. We're happy to recommend questions to ask your vet during this first visit.
What aren't you liable for after adoption?
We cannot be held liable for behavioral traits that develop in your home, veterinary expenses after the 72-hour check, or conditions resulting from accidents, neglect, or failure to follow our care guidelines.
What is your "Live Arrival Guarantee"?
We guarantee your puppy arrives safely. You must notify us within 2 hours of delivery if the puppy is in distress. We will immediately coordinate necessary veterinary care or discuss replacement options.
What veterinary care do puppies receive before going home?
Every puppy receives nose-to-tail veterinary examinations, age-appropriate vaccinations, multiple deworming treatments, and microchipping before leaving our care. We provide complete health records documenting all care received. Additionally, puppies traveling to their new homes receive a final health check within 10 days of departure to ensure they're fit for the journey.
Are your puppies approved for breeding?
Most of our puppies are sold as companion pets under a spay/neuter agreement. Breeding rights are only granted with our prior written consent and are typically reserved for specific show or breeding prospects.
Can I get updates on my puppy before I bring them home?
Yes! We love sharing updates and photos as your puppy grows. We encourage you to follow their journey and we are always happy to answer your questions.
What if I have a problem or dispute?
We cannot be held liable for behavioral traits that develop in your home, veterinary expenses after the 72-hour check, or conditions resulting from accidents, neglect, or failure to follow our care guidelines.
